Home Help Caregiver
Provide compassionate, hands-on Home Help to elderly and disabled adults in their own homes across Kent and Ottawa Counties.
Position Overview
As a Home Help Caregiver with Luminary Home Care, you'll provide essential daily support that helps clients live safely and independently at home. This is a rewarding role for caring, reliable individuals who want to make a genuine difference in someone's life. No two days are the same, but every day matters.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Help with mobility, transfers, and safe movement around the home
- Prepare nutritious meals and provide feeding assistance as needed
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and tidying of living areas
- Provide medication reminders and run essential errands
- Offer companionship and report any changes in the client's condition
Requirements
- A compassionate, patient, and dependable nature
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation to clients' homes within Kent and Ottawa Counties
- Caregiving experience is a plus, but not required — we provide guidance
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation
